His artwork is more cartoony and exaggerated than I normally like because I was a big Neal Adams fan while growing up. But Cooke brings a lot of forcefulness and edginess to his illustrations.

Tim Buying drew the pages, and his artwork underscored the uninvolved yet implicated information Cooke recounted.I liked the way pages were obedient down into panels, although I do not separate if it was Cooke or Purchase Award. The brightness of colors on the pages, the extreme positions, definitions released between the noble and catastrophic reality brought me back to my younger days when I invest hours reading comic books and imagining what it would be like to have miraculous powers and characteristic calm.

Superman's relationship with Lois Lane in the earlier years after their encounter is shown quite well in this epic.I loved the feel of the old secondary relationship while written in a period filled with computers and telephones room. Jimmy Olsen has a newsboy look about him that does not fit in today's age, but he has an inhumane way and learned from him that the line has been fascinating to observe the activity.
